Academics

Pre-K

Our PreK Department consists of classes with students ranging from the ages of 3 years old to kindergarten.  The children are taught using the popular and highly acclaimed ABeka curriculum.  ABeka is an accelerated and advanced Christian curriculum that prepares the students with a strong, academic foundation, making them ready for the important, upcoming years in their education.   The school setting is that of a traditional one, with an emphasis on instruction and review.  It is curriculum oriented and teacher directed within a structured environment.  We hold fast to the belief in accountability for each individual as well as the importance of character training. The students attend during regular school hours (8:15-3:15), five days a week. Chapel services are held once a week for this age group. We offer special chapel programs, including Grandparents’ Day, Veteran’s Day, Christmas programs, Easter programs and a Mother’s Day tea for our three year olds and their mothers.  They also have music and physical education classes bi-weekly.  Kindergarteners have computer classes bi-weekly, as well.  Our PreK teachers are extremely qualified, loving and educated individuals who enjoy teaching and working with the young, PreK students!  Our kindergartners have a very special Circus Day and end of the year graduation that will bless you and your families for years to come.
