Second language Skills are vital to the academic success of Calvary students. At Calvary, we offer Spanish classes for Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 5th through 8th grade students. Scientific studies are now showing profound effects on the human brain improving cognitive skills not related to language and even shielding against certain brain diseases in old age. There are so many other benefits to learning a second language! We are so excited to have this program here with us at Calvary Baptist. Our Spanish classes are led by Mrs. Cyntia Molina.

Computer classes are also offered to students in grades kindergarten through 8th once a week. The younger students practice math and phonics skills with fun and entertaining soft-ware programs while the Jr. High students focus on technique and typing skills using Word Document, Excel, and other computer soft-ware programs. The Computer classes are led by Ms. keely sanders.
